| | Send your Sage 50 Payroll Ireland data for repair |
| Resolution | Create a backup folder on your desktop - Right-click an empty area on your desktop, select New, then select Folder.
- Rename the folder to Sage Support Backup.
Back up your data - Open Sage 50 Payroll Ireland and log in to the payroll you want to back up.
- Go to Miscellaneous, then select Backup.
- Select Browse, then browse to your desktop.
- Select the Sage Support Backup folder.
- Select OK, then select Backup, and select OK again.
TIP: If you need to upload multiple payrolls, log in as the administrator and take a single backup of all payrolls. Zip the backup folder - Locate the Sage Support Backup folder on your desktop.
- Right-click the folder, select Send to, then select Compressed (zipped) folder.
Windows creates a file called Sage Support Backup.zip. NOTE: We need to reject your data if you don’t zip the backup. Upload your data - Go to my.sage.co.uk.
- Enter your login details and select Sign In. If prompted, select the company you want to use.
TIP: If you don’t have a My Sage login, select New customer? Start here to create one. - Go to Software, then select Data repair centre.
- Under Data Repair, select Upload/download your data.
- Select Upload new data, then select Upload data.
- Choose the product the data relates to.
- Select the service level and charge, then select I agree to these terms and conditions, and select Next.
- Enter or update your contact details, case number, and company name, then select Next.
NOTE: We need to reject data without a valid case number from technical support. - If needed, update the non-Sage programs information and select Next.
- Enter any extra details that can help us complete your request and select Next.
- Choose whether you’d like to help us improve our products and select Next.
- Enter your authorisation details and select Next.
- Check your information is correct, then select Next.
- Select Select File(s), browse to your desktop, and select Sage Support Backup.zip.
- Select Open, then select Upload to Sage.
NOTE: After you upload your data, Sage sends an email confirming the service level and terms. This email confirms we received your authorisation form. The Data Repair team emails you when your repaired file is ready to download. |
