Modifying which Outlook signature is used on your emailed layouts
Description

Layouts in Sage 50 Accounts use the default email signature set up in your local installation of Microsoft Outlook.

If you have multiple email signatures and wish to apply them to your Sage 50 Accounts layouts, you can do this from within Email Defaults.

NOTE: Please ensure you are using a compatible version of Microsoft Outlook before attempting to change your signatures.

Edit your signature

  1. On the menu bar click Settings, then click Email Defaults.
  2. Confirm your Email Program is set as Microsoft Office Outlook.
  3. Click the tab for the layout type you wish to apply a new signature to, for example, Invoice.
  4. Click the drop-down menu next to Override Default Outlook Signature and point to the signature you wish to use.
     TIP: Expand the boxes to select individual layouts. 
  5. Repeat step 4 for any other layout types, for example, Statements.
  6. Press Apply and then select the check box for the layouts you wish to apply these settings to.
  7. Click OK.

Your selected layouts will now use the Outlook signatures you've specified when you email them from Sage 50 Accounts.
