On the menu bar click Tools then click Sage Drive.
If there's no Sage Drive option
You're not currently using Sage Drive for this company.
If a Become secondary site option appears
Your data is shared using Sage Drive and you are at the main site.
If a Become main site option appears
Your data is shared using Sage Drive and you are at a remote site.
Back up your data at the main site
Click File, then click Backup.
To check your data, click Yes and click OK, then clickCloseand click Close again.
Click Browse and browse to where you want to save your backup, then click OK.
Click Advanced options and select the type of files you want to back up then click OK, then click OK again.
Update the computer that holds your data
At the main site, download and install your software on the computer that holds your data.
If you data is held on a computer that doesn't have a full Sage Accounts installation, you must download and install the Sage 50 Accounts v24 Data Service on that computer instead.
Download Sage 50 Accounts v24
To download Sage 50 Accounts v24, click the link below:
To login to your My Sage account, enter your Email and Password then click Sign In.
If prompted, select your account.
Click Download.
Depending on your Internet browser, the file downloads automatically or you're prompted to save the file. If prompted, browse to where you want to save the file, for example your Windows desktop, then click Save.
Install Sage 50 Accounts v24
Update all other computers at the main site
On all other computers at the main site, follow the same steps above to download and install your software.
Once installed, on one computer, open each company in Sage 50 Accounts v24 to convert your data.
Update all remote computers
On all Sage Drive remote sites, follow the same steps above to download and install your software.
