Set the default working pattern

Every payroll uses a default working pattern. Sage 50 Payroll Ireland assigns this pattern to employees automatically. The standard working week pattern comes set as the default. You can change the default working pattern if it doesn’t suit your payroll.

  1. Go to Company, then Payroll.
  2. Select Working Patterns, then check if the working pattern already exists.
  3. Select New, then select Save if the pattern doesn’t exist.
  4. Select the working pattern you want to use, then select Set as Default.
  5. Select Yes to confirm, then select Cancel.
