Resolution
Create a new working pattern from scratch
  1. On the menu bar, click Company/Payroll then click Working Patterns.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select the days of the week that your employees work.
  4. For each selected day, enter the start time and end time, and the amount of break time during the day.
If you have employees who work shifts or other non-standard hours, you don't need to enter a start and finish time for each day of the week. Select the Edit 'Total Working Time' values check box, then enter the total working time for each day.
  5. Click Save, then click Cancel.
Copy an existing working pattern

When you need to create a new working pattern, you may be able to save time by copying an existing working pattern that already specifies most of the relevant working days and hours.

  1. On the menu bar, click Company/Payroll then click Working Patterns.
  2. Select the working pattern you want to copy, then click Copy.
  3. In the Description, enter a title for the new working pattern. Then amend the settings in the Create Working Pattern window as required.
  4. Click Save, then click Cancel.
