Resolution

Check the Sage Services

Visit status.sage.com. Check that the Sage Licence Service is currently available.

If the service is unavailable, wait until the issues are resolved, then re-open Sage 50 Accounts. If the service is available, proceed to the next section.


Check your registration details

  1. Open Sage 50 Accounts, click Help and About, and make a note of the following:
    • Serial Number
    • Activation Key
    • Account Number
  2. Check these registration details are the same as stated in your order confirmation email.

    TIP: Can't find your details? Don't worry you can use your Account Number and Postcode to find your serial number and activation key.

 


Are you affected by TLS?

Changes to Sage services due to the Transport Layer Security (TLS) can cause this error.
