Any field in the import file can be enclosed by double quotes. This message appears for one of the following reasons:

  • A field doesn't start with a quote but has a quote in the middle of the field.
  • An opening quote is missing.
  • There are too many quotes.

To fix this error, edit the import file to correct the quotes then try the import again.
