Description

When installing your Sage software, this message may appear.

This occurs when installing Sage software on an unsupported operating system. We recommend moving to a supported operating system. You can also disable the startup type to resolve this. Let's take a look at how.

Disable the Startup type

  1. Press the Windows key + R, type services.msc then click OK.
  2. Locate and right-click Sage SData Service then click Properties.
  3. In the Startup type drop-down choose Disabled then click OK.
  4. Close the Services window and restart the computer.
  5. Try the installation again.

NOTE: You should change the Startup type back to Automatic once the installation is complete.
