When installing your Sage software, the following message may appear:

'Error 1325: [filename] is not a valid short filename'

This occurs when you don't have the correct Windows user permissions.

Update your Windows user permissions

To resolve this, log on to the computer as a user with full administrative privileges and install again.

 NOTE: Don't continue with the installation until you have full administrative privileges, as you may receive a "Partial download..." message.
