What versions of Microsoft Office can Sage Payroll integrate with?
Description

Sage Payroll can integrate with some Microsoft Office products to enable you to email payslips and run reports directly in to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

Microsoft Office Compatibility

To integrate correctly, install both Sage and Microsoft Office software on the same computer. Sage Payroll can integrate with the following versions of Microsoft Office:

  • Microsoft 365 - Desktop based
  • Microsoft Office 2019 - 32 bit
  • Microsoft Office 2016 - 32 bit
  • Microsoft Office 2013 - 32 bit
  • Microsoft Office 2010 - 32 bit
  • Microsoft Office 2007
  • Microsoft Office 2003

Microsoft no longer supports Office 2003, 2007, and 2010. Therefore we can offer limited support. We can help with basic steps, however if these don't work, you should upgrade your software to a more recent version.

Sage Payroll can integrate with the following Microsoft Office products:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook

Sage Payroll and Office 64-bit/web-based email solutions

Sage Payroll's email payslip functionality is currently only compatible with 32-bit versions of Microsoft Outlook.

It doesn't work with 64-bit versions of Microsoft Outlook, SMTP or web-based email solutions, such as Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo.
