ERROR: ‘Data Source Error Filling Lattice’
Description

When you try to open advanced report writer (ARW), the following messages can appear:

'Data Source Error Filling Lattice: The company data could not be accessed: Data source name not found and no default driver specified'

These errors occur if the computer running ARW doesn't have the required ODBC driver installed.

Cause
Resolution
  1. Download and install the ODBC driver.
  2. On the computer where you run ARW, open the downloaded file.
  3. Close all Sage software.
  4. Locate the file, ODBC driver.msi, and double-click it.
  5. Select Run, then follow the on-screen prompts.

  6. Open Advanced Report Writer and sign in as normal.
