Period archives
Description

Use the Period Archive option to archive payroll period data, then access historical reports, or continue to process from the archived pay period.

With this option you can switch between pay periods with ease, and revert back to the current pay period without the need to restore backups.

The Period Archive option isn’t a substitute for your normal data backups. Continue to take backups of your payroll data.

Cause
Resolution
  1. On the menu bar, go to Miscellaneous then select Period Archive.
  2. Select the period number you want to revert to, then select Revert.
  3. On the menu bar, go to Reports then select Payroll Reports.
  4. Select the relevant report, then select Print.
  5. If prompted, confirm your printer settings and select OK.
  6. Repeat the step 5 and 6 for each report you want to print.
  7. Repeat steps 2 to 7 for each period you want to print historical reports for.
  8. To return to your current period, go to Miscellaneous then select Period Archive.
  9. Select Current Period, then Revert.
