You can use the Period Archive option within Sage Payroll to archive payroll period data, which you can then use to access historical reports, or to continue processing from that archived pay period. With this option you can switch between pay periods with ease, and revert back to the current pay period without the need to restore backups. The Period Archive option is not a substitute for your normal data backups. You should continue to of your payroll data. - Click Miscellaneous then click Period Archive.
- Select the period number you want to revert to, then click Revert.
- On the menu bar, click Reports then click Payroll Reports.
- Select the relevant report, then click Print.
- If prompted, confirm your printer settings and click OK.
- Repeat the step 5 and 6 for each report you want to print.
- Repeat steps 2 to 7 for each period you want to print historical reports for.
- To return to your current period, on the menu bar, click Miscellaneous then click Period Archive.
- Select Current Period, then click Revert.
