| | Run payroll reports directly into Microsoft Excel |
| Resolution | Save a report in Microsoft Excel format - Go to Reports, then select Payroll Reports.
- Locate and select the report you want, then select Excel.
NOTE: If the software greys out the Excel button, you can’t export the report to Excel. - Browse to the folder where you want to save the file, then select Save.
- When prompted to view the file, choose Yes or No.
TIP: If you choose No, go to the folder you selected in step 3 to open the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet later. Email a report as a Microsoft Excel file - Go to Reports, then select Payroll Reports.
- Locate and select the report you want, then select Email.
- When prompted, select Excel.
An email opens with the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet attached. - Enter the recipient’s email address.
If needed, edit the subject and message. - To send the email, select Send.
