Description

Use the Inactive flag to hide old and unused customer, supplier, product, nominal or bank records from your lists without deleting them.

Flag a single record as inactive

  1. Open the required module, for example Customers, Products or Bank accounts, then double-click the required record.
  2. Select the Inactive check box in the Account Details section.
  3. Select Save then click Close.

Remove an inactive flag from a record

  1. Open the required module, for example Customers, Products or Bank accounts.
  2. Select the required record and click New/Edit, clear the Inactive check box in the Account Details section, click Save, then click Close.

View or hide inactive records on your lists

  1. Open the required module, for example Customers, Products or Bank accounts.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To see inactive accounts throughout the software, select the Include inactive check box.
    • To hide inactive accounts in the relevant module and in record lists when posting transactions, invoices and orders, clear the check box.

TIP: In v28.1 and above, inactive records don't show in the ActiveSearch Popup lists.


Reasons why you can't flag records as inactive
