When deleting transactions, the following message may appear:

' This transaction cannot be unallocated. Deletion is therefore not possible'

This occurs when a transaction has a link removed status.

Allocated transactions with a link removed status cannot be deleted, however they are removed by the Clear Audit Trail routine if the normal Clear Audit Trail criteria are met. For further information about correcting aged balances affected by link removed transactions, please refer to this article.
